Aaru & Co.

Denver, Colorado

When your pet dies, we come to you.

We handle everything from your home to your hands. There is no facility to drive to, nothing to arrange, and no one else to call.

Reach out whenever it happens. We will get back to you quickly.

We come to your home and take your pet into our care. We carry them through cremation ourselves. We return their ashes to you in an urn engraved with their name. They are never passed to a stranger and never out of our care at any point.

  1. You call, or send the form below. We respond quickly, and we do not leave you waiting for an answer. We confirm your address, the size of your pet, and what this will cost before anything begins.
  2. We come to you. At home, or at your veterinarian if that is where they are. We bring your pet into our care ourselves.
  3. Cremation, in our custody. Your pet stays with us through every step. Nothing is combined and nothing is handed off.
  4. They come home. We return their ashes to you in an urn engraved with their name. We know the waiting is hard, so we do not let it run long, and we tell you where things stand rather than leaving you to wonder.

We serve the Denver metro area. Rates depend on where you are, how far we travel, the size of your pet, and how quickly you need them back. We tell you the price on the phone, before any work begins.

Aaru.

No civilization is more closely associated
with the love of animals than ancient Egypt.

They gave their pets names.
They painted them into their tombs.
They mourned them openly.
They buried them in their own graves,
so they would not be separated.

Where they went is Aaru,
the Field of Reeds.

Not light. Not silence.
A green country. Black soil, tall reeds,
still water, fields that never fail.
The world they loved,
made perfect and made permanent.

In Aaru you wake young.
In Aaru you work, you eat, you rest in the shade.
In Aaru nothing is taken from you again.

And your pet is there.
Not waiting at the gate.
In the field beside you,
the way they were on the best day
you ever had together.

Aaru is what we are named for.
Aaru is where we are taking them.

Aaru.
